Spin

Heads or Tails.

A clean 50 / 50 spinner for the call that doesn't need a real coin. Two sides. One spin. No login, no ads, no tracker.

When to use it.

  • Call a kickoff.

Pickup football, board-game first move, who picks the movie. Heads or tails, one spin, no arguments.

  • Resolve a clean 50 / 50.

When two options are genuinely equal and your only job is to stop deliberating, the coin is the cheapest possible decision.

  • Teach probability.

Spin a hundred times. Track the runs. The wheel is uniform, the streaks are real, and the math is more interesting than it sounds.

Frequently asked.

Is the coin flip really 50 / 50?

Yes. Each spin draws a uniformly random angle in software, then animates the wheel to land on it. Heads and tails each get exactly half the circle, so the long-run frequency converges to 50 / 50.

Why a wheel instead of a coin animation?

Same odds, faster reading. A spinning coin needs a clear face-up frame to be readable. A wheel commits to a side as soon as the pointer stops, which is easier to share on a phone screen.

Can I rename Heads and Tails?

Yes. Open the wheel, then edit the two entries inline. Replace Heads with Pizza and Tails with Tacos, or whatever the actual decision is. Your changes save locally and survive a refresh.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The wheel runs entirely in your browser and works offline once loaded. You can also install it as a PWA from your browser menu for a one-tap launcher.
