Why this exists

A habit tracker that does not need a subscription.

Habit-tracking apps are the most-subscribed-to category of thing nobody needs to subscribe to. Stamps is one URL and one rule: tap a square. The square fills. The streak counts up. Skip a day and the streak resets, no shame. Five habits is the target, twelve is the cap.

Snapshots live in URLs. If you want to share your week with a friend, tap Share and send them a link. They see your grid in their browser. If they like it, they can fork it into theirs and start their own count. No account, no friend graph, no notifications at 7am.

Frequently asked

Answers to the obvious questions.

What is Stamps?

A small daily habit tracker. Five habits by default, thirty-day rolling grid, current and best streak per habit. Tap a square to stamp it. Drafts save in your browser.

Is it free?

Yes. No ads, no signup, no paid tier. The full feature set is free forever.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After your first visit the page is cached as a Progressive Web App and works without an internet connection.

How are streaks computed?

Current streak counts the days from today backward until the first unstamped day. Best streak is the longest run of consecutive stamps in your history. Stamping a missed day in the past extends both totals.

Can I share my habits?

Tap Share to copy a snapshot link. Anyone who opens it sees the same habits and stamps in their browser. They can fork the snapshot into their own browser with one click.

Where is my data stored?

In your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing site data wipes your stamps. Snapshots are encoded in the URL, not on a server.

Does it track me or use cookies?

No. There are no ads, no analytics, no third-party scripts. Everything runs in your browser.
